“ Best Eclairs you will find anywhere. Kolaches are awesome as well. It should be illegal to travel down I35 and not stop at Czech Stop. LOL ”
“ A solid stop along the way to Waco, TX. There are two different stores selling the same thing each next to each other. One is smaller inside than the other. The kolaches are great, different than the polish varieties. The dough is fluffy and the right amount of sweetness. They even have savory ones here not just your standard fruit filled ones. The chubbies were good too. The sausage on the inside had a little spicy kick to it. The value is excellent. Not much as for ambiance it's just a convenience store in a shell gas station. I'll always make a stop next time I'm on the road. ”
“ Wow, this was an awesome stop on our way to Magnolia Market! We had to wait in line for about 15 mins to get our delicious fruit kolaches and sausage buns! You can ask them to warm it up for the sausage buns! We had a variety of them and believe me, they are ALL very tasty and delicious! I was expecting a different kind of kolaches but I really like this version! ”
“ Hubby is new to Texas, so as a native I had to introduce him to this icon in West, Texas! Smells like heaven when you walk in and then you see all the amazing reasons why. Hubby had the pepperoni kolache which sounds like an oxymoron but he loved it! I was thrilled to find my old childhood favorite prune kolache YUM! (Don't knock it 'til you try it! Clean store, friendly staff, quick in and out service. 5 stars ”
“ Quick review. Each of these places in West are top notch. They each have good service (even though they stay busy), good food, and tons of selection. It is purely a personal preference on which store you like most. Czech Stop is unique in that it is basically setup as a convenience store with some large display cases full of bakery items as well as other stuff. Plus they have a big selection of beef jerky and drinks. ”
“ I don't know how I managed to live in Texas for 2 years and not know about this little piece of heaven on earth. The kolaches are delicious! Very soft and flavorful. The pigs in a blanket are amazing! Definitely get the cheese and jalapeño one...glorious! It was pretty busy when we went but the line moved pretty fast. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ This place is always a great stop. They offer a vast selection of cakes, breads, and sweets, along with some good breakfast options like sausage rolls and breakfast sandwiches. Of course, they also have all the typical gas station offerings. My favorite item here is the beer cheese bread, which I highly recommend. It's always very busy, so it can be a bit chaotic and loud inside. The staff is usually quite friendly as well. I can't recommend this place enough! ”
“ 5 stars!!! I do not give out the coveted 5 stars often, but the Czech Stop lived up to the hype without a doubt! I got a sausage, jalapeño, and cheese kolache along with a cinnamon roll. Hot take, but this was the absolute best cinnamon roll of my life, including my mom's homemade version! The cinnamon roll was the best balance of not overly sweet or too proofed, but flaky and spiced to perfection. The team- phenomenal! Nothing like this kind of experience in a gas station! ”
“ Excellent. This is the first time I have visited this location and there is not a line out the door...SCORE for us!!! The kolaches were PERFECT!! I always get the Nutella, my daughter loves the cherry cream cheese and my hubby loves the cinnamon rolls. It's a cute stop and shop location and it's has a warm welcoming feeling whenever we visit! ”
